The LinkedIn users faced issues while accessing the website, while one-third users also faced problem while using the LinkedIn app.
According to the outage monitoring website Downdetector.com, Microsoft's LinkedIn experienced problems on Wednesday that affected thousands of customers.
According to Downdetector, which analyses outages by compiling status updates from various sources including user-submitted faults on its platform, there were over 10,000 cases of people reporting problems with the social networking service. There's a chance that more customers are being impacted by the outage.
A request for comment from Reuters was not immediately answered by Microsoft.
Many LinkedIn users reported having trouble logging into the website. The problem began around 10.30 PM IST, and many people are still experiencing it as I write this. Many Indian users also encountered difficulties trying to access LinkedIn.
Gadgets 360 was able to confirm that the platform is functioning properly, therefore it appears that not all users are experiencing this problem evenly.
The majority of complaints, according to Downdetector, involved problems accessing the website, and one-third of users also had difficulty when using the LinkedIn app. Only a small percentage of individuals said they had trouble opening their profile.
LinkedIn has not yet released a statement regarding the outage.
More than 40,000 customers had previously complained that they were unable to access the calling app, and Zoom also got multiple complaints following this. But Zoom quickly responded with a statement assuring its users that it is working diligently to fix the issue. The platform sent a second statement an hour later informing users that the problem had been resolved and they would no longer experience the problem. The problems were reported from several other countries, including India.
