Kohler's $11,500 Smart Toilet Comes With Built-in Alexa, Speaker and Mood Lighting

 


In 2019, the company announced the Kohler Numi 2.0 Smart Toilet with LED Light, a speaker and Alexa voice controls, but now it's finally available to be installed inside homes. 



The home goods manufacturer Kohler is no stranger to unusual smart home gadgets, from faucets to smart mirrors. The Kohler Numi 2.0 Smart Toilet with LED Light, a Speaker, and Alexa Voice Controls was first introduced by the firm in 2019, but it is now finally available for installation inside homes.

The smart toilet costs $11,500 and includes a wide range of features. Numi has built-in surround sound speakers, ambient mood lighting, a heated seat, warm water cleaning with a drier, and automatic lid opening/closing and flushing, according to the official website. While using the restroom, one may check the weather, listen to the news, or order more toilet paper using the built-in Amazon Alexa voice commands on the smart toilet.

Additionally, Numi features a bidet option that can clean both the front and back portions as well as UV lamps for the bidet. According to The Verge, it also boasts a dual-flush option, auto deodorising, and an air dryer to keep the user fresh after the bidet has finished its work.

"Kohler's most advanced toilet now offers personalised settings that let you fine-tune every option to your exact preferences, from ambient coloured lighting and Bluetooth wireless technology to the heated seat with hands-free opening and closing," the Kohler website says in an explanation of some of its features.

The Kohler linked bathroom contains the Numi 2.0 in addition to a smart tub, smart shower, and smart mirror. The smart toilet, according to The Verge, is available to distributors in the United States and it should be available to purchase directly over the coming days.
