Additionally, the film was boycotted by some viewers who were disappointed with the removal of key elements from the animated film, such as the musical numbers and the character of Mushu, Mulan's dragon sidekick.


Despite these controversies, "Mulan 2020" remains a visually stunning and well-acted film that captures the spirit of the original story while offering a more mature and nuanced take.
