Pacific Rim: Uprising - A Worthy Sequel That Lives Up to Its Predecessor

Pacific Rim: Uprising is a 2018 science-fiction action movie directed by Steven S. DeKnight, and it serves as a sequel to the 2013 film Pacific Rim. The movie stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, and Cailee Spaeny, among others, and features giant robot Jaegers fighting off even bigger Kaiju monsters.


The film takes place 10 years after the events of the first movie, with the world still recovering from the Kaiju attack. Jake Pentecost (John Boyega), the son of Stacker Pentecost, who was the hero of the first movie, is a former Jaeger pilot turned thief.
