How to use YouTube’s Live Q and A feature to increase user engagement

YouTube recently rolled out a new feature called 'Live Q&A' that simplifies answering questions during live streams and premieres. Here's how to use it.
The YouTube Android and iOS applications had a significant revamp last month, adding several new features like pinch to zoom, video navigation, and specific tabs for quick videos and live streaming. The Google-owned video streaming service has now launched a new function dubbed "Live Q&A" that enables producers to communicate with viewers on a larger scale. Both premieres and live streaming can make use of it. This is a useful feature because it will allow producers to control inquiries directly from the Live Control Room. Creators must be live streaming a video or launching a new one in order to start a Live Q&A on YouTube. Click on the "+" button that displays at the bottom of the screen when the premiere or live stream begins.
Upon completion, you will be presented with the choice to "Start Q&A." Questions will start to appear in the chat window as soon as users start asking them. Simply go to the question list, choose a question to respond to, and it will be pinned to the top of the chat window.
Clicking the "End Q&A" banner that appears at the top of the conversation will end your current Live Q&A session. Although YouTube will remove all unanswered questions, the Live Q&A session can be viewed via the ‘Chat Replay’ feature.
The questions that are submitted initially will show at the top of the list, and after 200 questions, the first ones will vanish, according to a Google support page.
The technology that assists you in moderating the live chat also manages the questions submitted through the feature, so any filters you apply to the live chat will also apply to the questions.
While individuals with editor or management credentials will be able to access the questions list, select questions to answer, and also delete them from the list, channel moderators will not be able to control questions in the Q&A session.
